There are so many things we can focus on with John Harris\u2019 Terrenos Houston and Colony Ridge. But let\u2019s talk about flooding and sewage first.<\/p>\n
The fact is that these lands they are selling to immigrants flood and they do not disclose that anywhere throughout their sales process. We\u2019ve had countless of people crying out to us for help due to the lakes of water on their properties when it rains. See some of the complaints we have received:<\/p>\n
\u201cThey also told us our land was in a no-flood zone, and what was our surprise that in the first rain that arrived our land looked like a pool.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201c...when it rains my ditches flood and even when it doesn\u2019t rain, it always has pooled water.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201c...they told me it doesn\u2019t flood and that\u2019s a lie Half of my land looks like a lagoon and I\u2019ve added like 20 truckloads of dirt and it still floods...\u201d<\/p>\n
To make matters worse, the surrounding City of Plum Grove has been fighting the county of Cleveland Texas to stop this company from continuing to develop ruthlessly without proper management of their sewage. They\u2019ve even brought to the county\u00a0countless of environmental issues<\/a>\u00a0that are being violated by this self-proclaimed developer. Yet the county keeps approving the platting of land.<\/p>\n We were told in an e-mail:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n\u201cThousands of gallons of raw sewage have been confirmed being dumped out on the ground which is not only disgusting but we also worry that it will eventually end up in our water system since everyone out here has their own water well.\u201d<\/h3>\n
